Gerber MMA fighter, Brian Bowles has worked his way into the headlines in the WEC (a subsiderary of the UFC) and is fighting for the title on Sunday,
August 9th.
The fight will air live on Versus and will take place at
the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Brian is
fighting Miguel Torres which many people consider to be one of the very best
pound-for-pound fighters in the world. Torres
is currently 37-1 and has not lost in 5 years.
However, there are also many in the sport that believe
Brian has a good chance of beating Torres.
Nevertheless, Brian will be an underdog going in to the event. Consequently, a victory for Brian would be
huge news and would gain a tremendous amount of exposure.
